Magali Dien lives and works in Amsterdam since 1995.
Her work includes objects (wood, metal wire, etc...), bronzes and acrylics on canvas. The wonder of nature plays an important role in her work.
Magali Dien likes to play with figurative and abstract elements to create a dynamic contrast. She uses pure forms and bright colors. Her subject-matter ranges from abstraction to human figure and is mostly expressed in a lyric way. She combines organic forms with other materials and strong colors. The challenge is then to keep the uniqueness of each material within one composition.
